KeeFox adds free, secure and easy to use password management features to Firefox which save you time and keep your private data more secure.
Think of KeeFox as a bridge or connection between Firefox and KeePass Password Safe, the most popular open source (and free) password manager.
Here are just a few of the reasons to use KeeFox:
- Automatic login to all your favourite websites
- Free and open source (why is this good?)
- No spyware, adware or other adverts

One of the great benefits of KeeFox over similar password managers is the link to KeePass which allows you to manage more than just web site passwords. For example, you could store PIN numbers, WiFi access codes, credit card details, secret notes and even small documents alongside your website passwords. You can access your passwords on many different platforms including Mac, iPhone, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Android and Linux. Read full details about KeePass’ features on the official KeePass website.
You can install KeeFox (and KeePass Password Safe 2) provided that you are running at least Firefox 3.5 on Windows XP or greater. Alternatively, advanced users could choose to install the Firefox add-on and KeePass plugin separately and configure KeeFox manually.
The latest version is 0.8 Beta. You might want to read more about this version of KeeFox and download it.
