Version 0.7.3 is ready for testing by anyone feeling brave enough. Grab it from the “very latest” link towards the bottom of the download page.
This version includes the bug fixes from version 0.7.1 and adds these new features:
- Allow opt-in/opt-out on an entry-by-entry basis for auto-fill and auto-submit
- New option to turn password save prompts off entirely
- New KeeFox Options Menu added to KeePass, including an option to not save the KeePass database automatically
- Right-clicking on a group in KeePass now offers the ability to restrict KeeFox to only entries within that group and its sub-groups (setting the option on the root group will reset it to default behaviour)
- Entries can be given priority weightings (use this feature to better manage sites where more than one matching entry is found)
- Entries without URLs are no longer displayed on the Logins toolbar menu
Understanding how to use some of these new features will require reading about advanced strings.

Hi,
I could not install your plugin on a Linux_x86_64-gcc3. I would love too, so – if possible – make it happen!
Yours Karsten
This looks awesome. I’ll definitely be poking around with it on my netbook. I would love to see it support Linux as well =).
I would like to add support for Linux but I’m concentrating on making it work well for Windows users first. You can monitor progress on this feature request ticket – if I or anyone else starts work on the feature I’ll make sure updates are posted to that ticket.
I’ve just started using Keepass with Keefox but I’m having trouble logging into my 3 Myspace accounts that all have similar email login/usernames with the same URL. It keeps logging into the same account all the time even when I select a different login/username. Is it something to do with automatic logon? How do I turn it off in Options or should I upgrade from 0.70 to 0.73?
Just restarted everything but it still keeps logging onto the same Myspace account when I click on the other with a different email login and password. Is there someway of resetting it in the options. Maybe I need to deselect something on the general tab.
Just tried turning off all the boxes in the general tab but it still logs into the same Myspace account over and over again. It looks like it only works properly with different URL’s.
Please search the forum and submit new support requests there rather than in the comments – it’s a more suitable system that allows searching, posting attachments and private messaging where required. Sometimes other people can help you out too so you won’t have to wait until I have time to respond (can be quite some time since I’m still trying to dedicate 100% of my development time to getting KeeFox stable and ready for wider use by less technical users).

@Rob: 0.7.6 is now the latest version (not officially announced due to a possible firefox bug that will take many weeks to isolate and diagnose) – you should try upgrading to that though, at least if just to see if the problem has already been fixed. Is the problem specific to MySpace? I would recommend against using the auto-submit feature because some websites can cause you to end up in an endless loop. However, I’ve not seen the problems you describe before (especially with all automatic features disabled!) – I have many websites with multiple logins and they work fine but it is possible that certain sites have unusual log-in pages so please try a few things out and then use the forum to continue this discussion. Thanks.
